The Fantuzzi Group
The Fantuzzi group employs over 2600 people in five manufacturing plants, 8 principal goods and service companies, and over 30 branches and offices spread through out all five continents.
We manufacture side loaders, reach stackers, heavy fork lift trucks, empty container handing fork lifts, straddle carriers, mobile harbour cranes, ship to shore cranes, rubber tyred gantry cranes, and rail mounted gantry cranes.
Founded in 1960 by Group Chairman Luciano Fantuzzi.
The first products were primarily for the agricultural sector.
The first container handling machine, a side loader was built in 1968.
In 1974 the first container handling fork lift truck was produced, Fantuzzi have since proceeded to dominate this market, pioneering firstly the 5, 6, 7 high and now producing up to 10 high empty container equipment.
Fantuzzi entered the Reach Stacker market in 1990 and through many innovations now hold a prime position in the worlds market place.
Fantuzzi is also a dominate world supplier of side loaders, having continued from the outset to offer many innovations many of which the whole market has now adopted.
Noell the German crane manufacturer was acquired in 2000. Noell can trace its history back to 1824 when its main business was that of repairing postal stage coaches. Materials handling equipment started to be produced around 1900.
Noell Crane Systems are the worlds leading supplier of straddle carriers, in particular the new diesel electric machine which has proved to be a revelation in the market place.
Noell also holds a leading position in the world supply of RTG’S and STS cranes.
